James Bond producers and Daniel Craig have been very quiet since the release of Spectre, but does a recent Facebook change suggest a 007 announcement is imminent?
It’s been over 18 months since the release of the last James Bond film. The gap between Spectre and its predecessor Skyfall was three years, with previous leaks suggesting producers want the 25th Bond film to be released in late 2018.
However with silence from both Barbara Broccoli and Daniel Craig, fans are beginning to wonder if plans with or without Craig are secretly underway.
Now a mysterious new update by an official James Bond Facebook page suggests something is certainly happening. On Facebook there are two officially verified pages, one for the franchise itself (James Bond 007) and one for the latest film (Spectre).
However last Friday evening, the Spectre page mysteriously had its name changed to “James Bond 007 Movies”.
While its been 18 months since the film was released, it does seem rather random for the page to have its name changed. Could it possibly be because the next film or even new Bond actor are due to be announced imminently?
Of course it could just be an update, but surely that’s too much of a coincidence? For now Bond fans will just have to wait patiently and see if anything else changes.
