It may be a holiday traditionally associated with younger generations roaming neighbourhoods for a trick or treat.

Yet, UK stars couldn’t help but get into the spirit of Halloween early as they dressed up to the nines, complete with gore for weekend festivities which they chronicled on social media.

Lewas ading the fancy-dress was Grammy-award winner Adele, who kicked off early celebrations in a glittering make-up look that accentuated her green eyes.

Appearing as a glamorous clown, the “Hello” hitmaker worked her flame-haired locks into a messy curl which she teased for extra volume.

The mullet-hemline showcased her complementing silver boots with star detailing in the photo she captioned: ‘Happy Early Halloween & Happy Birthday Gorgeous’.

While wishing belated birthday to her friend Penelope Gabriel, she showed off her playfully side as she posed to the camera. Adele’s best friend and famous writer Laura Dockrill was also at the party.

Slipping into a metallic green ankle-length dress, Adele’s choice of garment featured eye-catching detailing around her neckline as well as a vibrant Chinese dragon motif by her hemline.

Her social media post comes after it was reported that Adele’s fortune is only going to get bigger, as new accounts revealed the singer earned a staggering £16.5million last year, the equivalent of £45k a day.

The 29-year-old “Hoemtown Glory”  hitmaker saw the massive income after the incredible success of her third album 25, which was released in November 2015 selling an estimated 20 million copies worldwide with a massive world wide tour including Glastonbury 2016.

An insider told The Sun: «It’s an incredible amount of money, more than you’d think she’d ever need. And she has always been very careful with her earnings so there’s no chance she’ll ever waste any of it. It just proves she’s one of the biggest stars, if not the biggest, in her industry.» A representative for Adele was contacted for comment at the time.
